The steam section of Goharan combined cycle power plant was synchronized with the national grid on saturday, 13th of July 2019, at 21:26. The power plant, with the nominal capacity of 492 MW, has been constructed via Gohar Energy Sirjan Company’s investment.
The stations of the project consist of two combined cycle blocks one of which has been implemented so far.
The capacity of stations includes four 166-MW stations of gas turbines and two 160-MW stations of steam turbines, and ACC cooling system, substation and 400 KV power transmission line.
