The Comprehensive Plan of Gas Delivery to Golgohar Mining and Industrial Complex The purpose for this plan is gas delivery to  Golgohar industrial complexes including: Jahan Foulad factories, Iron and Steel development , Gondeleh Sazi, Gohar Zamin, Foulad-e Iranian as well as 1000 MW Goharan combined cycle power plant. This gas delivery grid consists of 46 kilometers of steel gas delivery with the diameter of 2 to 24 inches with pressures of PSI 400 and PSI 250 together with 12 gas pressure-regulating and metering stations, and one cathodic protection station. The first and second phases have been operated in the years 2014 and 2015 respectively.

The Employer: Gohar Zamin Iron Ore Company The Management of the Plan: Gohar Energy Sirjan Company Considering the newly-established Gohar Zamin company’s need, the contract for constructing a 230 to 33 KV post with the capacity of 2*145 MW Ampere under EPC was assigned to the qualified companies, and its first phase has already been utilized.

Considering an increase in the production capacity in Golgohar mining and industrial zone in the form of implementing development plans, the provision of required water for the plans was assigned to Gohar Energy Sirjan company. According to the estimation made, approximately 60 million cubic meters of water required for consumers must be annually provided via water transfer lines. For this purpose, the first priority including transfer line and water supply ring has been completely carried out.

The Employer: Golgohar Mineral and Industrial Company The Management of the Plan: Gohar Energy Sirjan Company For the purpose of increasing the production capacity of Golgohar Mineral and Industrial company in the shape of implementing the development plan of Gondoleh and Constantreh section, and after conducting the necessary studies by the engineering unit of Gohar Energy Sirjan company, a 230 to 33 KV electricity post with the capacity of 2*145 MW Ampere via feeding from 2 – circuit line under EPC was assigned to qualified contractors, and its first phase with 1 trans formator and 6 exit feeders provides the electricity required for the sites of Golgohar, Iron and Steel Development, and Jahane Foulad companies.

In line with the comprehensive plan of providing electricity required for the development plans of the companies located in Golgohar mining and industrial zone, and based on the studies carried out and the plan made by Gohar Energy Sirjan comoany, the executive operations of 230 KV 2-circuit , telescopic transfer lines for the purpose of joining the substation of Goharan combined cycle power plant to the substations of 230 KV Golgohar, Gohar Zamin 2, and the existing substation of Golgohar have been totally carried out. In addition, in the period before the operation of Goharan power plant , the temporary electricity has been transferred from the existing post to 230 KV post using the above-mentioned lines, and the temporary electricity

In line with the comprehensive plan of providing electricity required for the development plans of the companies located in Golgohar mining and industrial zone, and based on the studies carried out, and the plan made by Gohar Energy Sirjan company, the executive operations of 400 KV, 2-circuit , transfer lines with kerlow conductor for the purpose of joining Gohran combined cycle power plant to Jahan Foulad and Golgohar Iron and Steel development substations, and also joining the power plant to 400 KV lines of national grid to transit power have been completely terminated.

This substation is currently under construction in a land with an approximate area of 30 hectares including two voltage levels of 400 and 230 KV by Parsian High Pressure substations Development Company. 400 KV switch gear of this substation consists of eighteen 400 KV feeders (line, trans  and power plant), and eight 230 KV feeders (line and trans) and the capacity of the installed trans is 500 MV Ampere which can be extended up to 750 MV Ampere. This substation, as one of the country’s biggest transfer substations plays the function of transferring the generated energy in Gohran 1000 MW power plant to national grid and to downstream industries (such as steel and …).
